Today, I went down to C.H. Mortgage, the morgage company of choice for D.R. Horton - my builder. They ran me through their loan application, which was relatively painless. Unfortunately, I learned that they think that I have a credit card that I don't have. In fact, I paid it off last year and closed the account. So, that will be fun to track down. Here's the kicker: they had no phone number for the creditor...hmmm, sneaky.
My representative, Chanda, was very helpful and easy to understand. She ran me through a ton of options and thoroughly explained the process to my simple mind.
In housing related news, my cousin signed a contract today on a new place, the Turret House. As soon as he posts some pics, I'll link to the gallery.
